What is a strong authentication?

Today, the most widely used solution for self-authentication on a website is the login/password combination.

This solution is considered weak as it is easy to intercept the data entered and log in as another user.

This authentication method is no longer appropriate for many applications that handle personal or confidential data or financial flows.

In contrast, strong authentication requires two of the following three factors:

K.Access® is based on the first two factors: a unique object and a confidential secret. K.Access ® is a "non-replayable" authentication method and is much more difficult to intercept.
It therefore guarantees a high level of security to users exchanging confidential data with a web site, for instance.
