two sources of protection

 

For the Governments that issue electronic and biometric passports and for the host countries that control these documents, Keynectis technologies bring a new level of security, trust and user-friendliness to all passport control operations. The control process is optimized: safer and smoother, it boosts the efficiency of customs authorities while building trust and peace of mind in travellers, whether on business or pleasure.

Sequoia® e-Passport covers the complete product suite (CSCA/DS and CVCA/DVCA) and associated services. The information workflow is set up as follows:

> BAC - Basic Access Control
> Sequoia® EAC - Extended Access Control
> Sequoia® Standard Compliance and Protocols
> Sequoia® Features and Operating Environment

  • The Country Signing Certification Authority (CSCA) delivers signature certificates (X.509v3) for the signature equipment (Document Signer, DS)
  • For international cross reference, the CSCA publishes in the ICAO PKD (Public Key Depository)
  • The DS (Document Signer) interfaces with the production chain and signs the citizen’s data using the certificate issued by the CSCA
